Ms. Furth is the 2012 Chair for the RPAC Fundraising Forum for the National Association of REALTORS® and is the 2012 Chair for the Legislative Committee for the California Association of REALTORS®. She currently sits as the Secretary for the Education Foundation Board of Directors and REALTORS® Advisory Board for the Los Angeles County Tax Assessor. She was honored to be the 2009 Liaison to Housing and Diversity Committees at the National Association of REALTORS®. She served on the 2011 Executive Committee for the national designation, Council of Residential Specialists. She is the 2010 President's Award Winner and the 2006 California Association of REALTORS® Honorary Director for Life and the 2004 REALTOR® of the Year for the Southland Regional Association of REALTORS®. She has been a member of the Smartgrowth Presidential Advisory Group at the National Association of REALTORS®, a CREPAC Trustee for the California Association of REALTORS® and the Chairman for the CRS Diversity Committee. She was the 2004 Chairman of the Equal Opportunity-Cultural Diversity Committee at the National Association of REALTORS® and 2004 Chairman of the Editorial Advisory Panel for the national CRS magazine, "The Residential Specialist". She was the 2002 President for the Southern California Chapter of Certified Residential Specialists and 2002 CRS of the Year, SoCal Chapter. Prior to this achievement she was proud to have served as the 2001 President for the Southland Regional Association of REALTORS®. She was the 2004 Vice Chairman of Federal Issues, 2003 Liaison to Committees and was the 2002 Regional Chairman for Region 18 for the California Association of REALTORS®. She was the 1997 Founding President of Women's Council of REALTORS®, San Fernando Valley Chapter. She is an active REALTOR®, listing and selling properties in the San Fernando, Simi/Moorpark and Conejo Valleys. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting from UCLA. She is a member of the Consolidated Realty Board and NAHREB (National Association of Real Estate Brokers Realtists), NAHREP (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals) and AREAA (Asian Real Estate Association of America.) She enjoys jazz, golf, travel, horses, cats and offshore powerboat boat racing.
